Rhombus Shower — an original print hand-painted by the designer in metallic shades of gold, silver, rose gold, shocking pink, and emerald, rendered on a Tang Dynasty-inspired poolside shirt-jacket in polyester crepe-back satin. Oversized and short-sleeved with a mandarin collar and side vents, the silhouette carries the effortless ease of a shirt with the structured presence of a Tang jacket. Available in Lagoon, Onyx, and Flint. Lightweight, fast-drying, and comfortable — the ideal layer after a dip at the beach or poolside, and equally at home at a summer dinner or evening event.

The Painting
Rhombus Shower began as a canvas — a Lagoon blue sky crossed diagonally by cascading gold rhombuses, painted by hand in metallic shades of gold, silver, rose gold, shocking pink, and emerald. Not a pattern. A weather event. Fortune raining down upon whoever stands beneath it. The painting became the print; the print became the shirt. What you wear is the sky itself.

Made to order in the USA. Signed by the artist. Shipped in a presentation box with a certificate of authenticity. Due to the bespoke nature of this garment, returns and exchanges are not accepted. Preorders are not refundable. Shipping insurance is strongly recommended.
Care
Hand wash, hang dry. Do not use steam heat. If pressing is required, use a low setting on the reverse side only — do not iron the printed face. Do not apply heat to the frog closures. To remove wrinkles, lightly steam the reverse side only. For best results, consult a luxury dry cleaner.

Design
Every Stacy Stewart Smith piece begins as a drawing and ends as a decision — a deliberate choice of textile, construction method, and proportion made by a single designer with five decades of practice. The same eye that composes a painting composes a coat: line, weight, negative space, and the relationship between form and the body that inhabits it. Garments are produced in New York City, one at a time, to the measurements and preferences of the individual client. No two pieces are identical. No production run exists. This is not manufacturing — it is making.
The atelier sources textiles for their hand, weight, and longevity. Sustainability here is not a campaign. It is the natural consequence of making only what is wanted, from materials chosen to last, by a craftsman who will not put his name on anything less.
