The Tapestry Dragon Tote was the first piece designed in the Spring collection — the object around which everything else was built — and it arrived bearing a symbol that kept returning no matter how many times it was reconsidered: the dragon. Not as decoration. As argument.

In the Chinoiserie tradition that swept through Parisian decorative arts and fashion at the dawn of La Belle Époque, the dragon was neither purely Eastern nor Western — it was the image that two vastly different civilizations had independently chosen to represent power, fortune, and the forces that exist beyond human control. Gold and crimson dragons move across a vibrant cobalt sky in poly/rayon chenille jacquard tapestry, frolicking among mango clouds with the ease of things that have always been there and always will be. The bag does not explain itself. It does not need to.

The construction is precise: black Nappa leather trim and grosgrain ribbon at the mouth and handles, a black pigskin suede base, and a full lining in durable black polyester satin. Metal-tipped drawstring ties extend from the handles and thread through loops on opposite sides, allowing the bag to be cinched closed or worn open. The floating inner pocket is lined in pigskin suede and closes with a two-way coil zipper and black chain pull. It holds everything — a laptop, a script, a change of plans. It is, in the most literal and philosophical sense, a carry-all.
