The answer is the trapezoid — wider at the base than at the top, with angled sides that expand the carrying volume without adding bulk at the shoulder or width at the hip. It is a mathematical approach to design, and it works.

The bag is constructed in drum-dyed cow Nappa leather — tanned for durability and versatility, finished with a dry-cleanable, pebbled surface that resists wear and holds its depth of color over time. Available in Onyx and Espresso, each hide selected for consistency of tone and texture. The house “S” graphic logo is appliquéd in leather on the front and repeated in the interior — a quiet signature that identifies the bag without announcing it.

Six metal feet allow the bag to stand upright on any surface like luggage, holding its shape whether on a restaurant floor, an airport carousel, or a conference table. The soft Nappa upper body and handle make it easy to carry by hand or on the shoulder, and a comfort rest keeps it in position crossbody without shifting. Inside, a twill-textured neoprene lining with grosgrain ribbon accents protects the contents and gives the interior a considered, finished quality. Two side pockets sized for cellphones, an inner zip pocket, and a sturdy interior divider organize the main compartment. Two-way coil zippers with leather pulls open the bag and inner pocket with ease. Comfortably holds a laptop. Roomy enough for a petite overnight trip.
