Description

48 copies. One collector's edition. No reprints. No advertising.

The Limited Edition Print of Atelier Quarterly Vol. II: Couture Reformation is a premium printed magazine for the discerning menswear collector. This issue advances our core argument: couture belongs to men — in the drape of the fabric, the precision of the cut, and the audacity of the editorial vision.

Each copy is individually numbered and printed to museum-quality standards, making it a tangible artifact from one of menswear publishing's most deliberate voices.

What's Inside:

  • Menswear Couture Manifesto — The full argument. Why couture belongs to men and always has.
  • Why Windsor Pants? — On the Duke of Windsor, the wide leg, and the return of the considered trouser.
  • Kilt Reality — A discovery of transatlantic truths. The Great Kilt and its African and Scottish inheritance.
  • The Gift Gallery — Couture accessories as objects of art and intention.
  • A Beautiful Life: Couture Coverings in Black — On the coats, the linings, and the architecture of warmth.

Complimentary copy available with any $300 purchase. Enter code QUARTERLY-ON-US at checkout.

For digital products and publications: no physical care required; download and archive your files upon receipt.

Design

Every Stacy Stewart Smith piece begins as a drawing and ends as a decision — a deliberate choice of textile, construction method, and proportion made by a single designer with five decades of practice. The same eye that composes a painting composes a coat: line, weight, negative space, and the relationship between form and the body that inhabits it. Garments are produced in New York City, one at a time, to the measurements and preferences of the individual client. No two pieces are identical. No production run exists. This is not manufacturing — it is making.

The atelier sources textiles for their hand, weight, and longevity. Sustainability here is not a campaign. It is the natural consequence of making only what is wanted, from materials chosen to last, by a craftsman who will not put his name on anything less.
