The Black Shearling & Leather Coil was originally designed to hang from the hardware rings at the waist of the Flange-Back Leather Moto Jacket — a garment ornament in the tradition of military dress decoration, cavalry sashes, and La Belle Époque theatrical costume, reinterpreted through a moto lens. When the jacket moves, the coil moves with it. It is the detail that makes the silhouette.

The coil is engineered in a continuous spiral — narrow at the top where it meets the neck or the hardware, widening to a dramatic 14” cascade at the base. The construction allows the wearer to reveal the smooth lamb leather side for a sleek, graphic line, or flip it to the shearling for texture and warmth. A rayon-covered hook-and-eye secures it cleanly. It can also be doubled around the neck for a more conventional wear and greater warmth — though conventional is not really the point.
